Chance to learning the lingo

Ramsbottom Library is holding an open day on July 10 for local businesses which
will help them expand their opportunities abroad by learning new skills from
foreign languages to IT skills.

The day will provide information about how to learn a foreign language to help
improve business opportunities abroad. Businesses will be able to choose from
courses including French, German, Greek, Italian or Spanish.

There is also an opportunity for businesses that are keen to improve their
business skills. There are a number of courses available to help improve IT,
literacy and numeracy, customer service and Work and English for Speakers of
Other Languages.

Both IT and language courses can be delivered in the workplace and they may be
available to the business for free in some cases.

The event will take place between 10am and 4pm at Ramsbottom Library and Adult
Learning Centre. Refreshments will be provided.
