Mayor to attend opening of Hollins Village's new Bowling Green

Bury Mayor, Cllr Peter Ashworth, will officially open Hollins Village Community Association's (HVCA) Bowling Green at 3:45pm on Saturday 29 June.

Bury Council, Barclays Spaces for Sport and local business, Pilsworth Environmental Company; have provided much needed funding to improve the bowling green. The green was in poor state of repair and the funding has allowed a fantastic community resource to be developed.

Local residents are invited to attend the opening ceremony to view the new facilities and have a go at bowling. There will also be the opportunity for new members to sign up to the club.
