Council helps form Business Action Group in Prestwich
Date published: 21/09/2006
A meeting has been organised for local businesses in Prestwich at Prestwich Library 6pm, September 26.
The aim of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for businesses in Prestwich Town Centre to meet for an informal chat and to monitor the level of support to hopefully form a Town Centre Business Action Group.
The action group could discuss issues and activities that affect Prestwich Town Centre and its business and give business owners their chance to air concerns about what is happening or ideas for improvement and promotions.
The meeting has been arranged by Bury Council’s Town Centre Coordinator Liz Gillan who is keen to encourage all town centre businesses to attend, find out more about what is happening and take the opportunity to get involved in the promotion and improvement of Prestwich Town Centre.
Further information about the meeting is being circulated to all town centre businesses, and businesses will be asked to identify their top three key issues affecting Prestwich town centre to form the basis for action.
Refreshments will be available from 5-30pm and the meeting starts at 6-00pm, closing by 7-00pm. If you are interested or would like more information please contact Liz on 0161-253-5974 or by e-mail to e.gillan@bury.gov.uk
