TV's Northern Pride comes to Bury

The highly popular television series "Grundy's Northern Pride", seen by two
million Granada viewers is back and this time will feature Bury's Famous Market
Hall and covered markets.

John Grundy, who writes and presents 'Grundy's Northern Pride' shares his
passionate enthusiasm for architecture and takes a look at the gull winged
magnificence of Bury Market Hall.

If you thought buildings were boring think again. The programme is due to be
screened on ITV1 at 7.30pm on Thursday, 14 August 2008.

DVDs of both series will be available in the near future.

Bury's World Famous Markets are open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, for
bargains galore.
