Men charged after teenager attacked

Three people have been charged after a teenager was assaulted with an axe in a Bury park.
Fitim Shabani (born 21/12/1985) of Cheetham Hill Road, Manchester, is charged with causing grevious bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon.
Farrell Duncan (born 15/01/1990) of Bignor Street, Cheetham Hill, Manchester, is charged with grevious bodily harm with intent, affray and a public order offence.
Cole Aeon (born 13/05/1990) of Kilmaine Avenue, Manchester, is charged with assisting an offender.
All three are due to appear before Bury Magistates' Court on 14 July 2008.
On Friday 9 May 2008, police were informed that an 18-year-old man was walking in the park on Wellington Road when he was assaulted with an axe, suffering a head wound that required stitches.
