Bradley Fold:
The Fire Service has lifted the cordon surrounding the Bradley Fold Industrial Estate. Some further damping down will continue for a short time but it is now safe to return to industrial units.

Whitefield flooding: Street Cleansing have worked flat out to clean up Ribble Drive and Oak Lane (both carriageway and footway). Ribble Drive and Oak Lane are open however there is some congestion around the Mersey Drive junction. Mersey Drive will probably be closed until at least the end of the week. The pipe is currently being repaired however there is a large section of carriageway and footway which will need resurfacing.
