Public transport affected by severe weather

GMPTE is advising passengers of severe disruptions to bus and tram services caused by the prolonged level of snowfall today.

Passengers are advised to only make essential journeys this evening and to prepare for delays and disruptions in the morning rush hour in light of the freezing temperatures forecast overnight.

Metrolink is operating a 12-minute service via Piccadilly on all lines, but there could be some delays to services.
