Images of a Man Wanted in Connection With Theft From Pharmacy
Date published: 27/02/2009
Images of a man police want to speak to in connection with a shoplifting offence have been released.
On 12 December 2008 a man went into Lloyds Pharmacy on Bury Old Road and began removing makeup from the shelves, stuffing it into his coat.
A member of staff shouted to the man to stop, but he did not, stealing more makeup.
The man then walked out of the shop, got into a red car, and drove away.
He is described as white, between 5ft 10 and 5ft 11in tall of slim build, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a dark jacket with a hood, and jeans.
Police Constable Steve Raine from Bury volume crime team said: "The makeup this thief stole was Boujous brand, and was quite expensive. I can only presume it was intended for a Christmas present for someone he knew.
"The images are clear, but no officers have yet been able to identify this man, and I am hoping that the public will be able to help us find out who he is."
Anyone with any information about this theft is asked to contact police on 0161 856 8136 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
