Event: Why not learn at a free lunch? - Baking for Pleasure

A free chance to learn a new skill and socialise over a bite to eat is being offered to the borough’s over-50s.

Art and cookery are the latest Lunch and Learn sessions to be arranged through Bury Council’s Age of Opportunities initiative.

Come along to one of these courses:

* Playing with Clay – which runs on Thursdays (Feb 25, Mar 4, Mar 11 and Mar 18) from noon to 3pm at Whitefield Library.

* Drawing – on Fridays (Feb 26, Mar 5, Mar 12, and Mar 19) from noon to 3pm at Whitefield Library.

* Quick and Easy Meals – on Mondays (Mar 1, 8 and 15) from 7pm to 9pm at Bury Adult Education Centre.

* Card Making with Templates – on Tuesdays (Mar 2, 9, 16 and 23) from 10am to 1pm at Topping Fold Community Centre.

* Baking for Pleasure – on Thursdays (Mar 4, 11 and 18) from 1pm to 3.30pm at Bury Adult Education Centre.
