A free course of five, one hour swimming lessons is being offered to people over 50 who can’t swim or those who haven’t swum in a long time and need to re-build their water confidence. The lessons will take place in small groups over 5 consecutive weeks and must be booked in advance at the appropriate centre.

Kathryn Tickell, the most widely acknowledged icon of Northumbrian music, joins forces with talented young musicians to present a band full of excitement and vitality. This distinctive quartet provides a perfect setting for Kathryn's music, and features her own compositions, and the traditional tunes of Northumberland and the Borders.

With special guest and star of last Year's Big Whistle Festival, Calum Stewart.
