Workshops celebrating Springtime.

Due to popular demand booking is necessary. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. We ask that that there is a minimum of 1 adult to 4 children. If you would like to bring a group to an activity at the Art Gallery or Museum this must be booked in advance.

In this one-day workshop come and investigate different aspects of portraiture using the Art Gallery’s collection and create your own self-portrait.

This all-day filmmaking workshop is an exciting new addition to Young Arties. Participants will learn the skills and have the opportunity to make a short film inspired by the gallery and museum collection. All equipment is provided.

Gill will speak on the evacuation from Guernsey to the North West during WW2, in particular the evacuation to Bury. Her talk is based on her research into the subject using documents held at Bury Archives and also first-hand accounts from recent interviews she has conducted with evacuees.
