Why not learn at a free lunch? - Card Making with Templates
A free chance to learn a new skill and socialise over a bite to eat is being offered to the borough’s over-50s.
Art and cookery are the latest Lunch and Learn sessions to be arranged through Bury Council’s Age of Opportunities initiative.
Come along to one of these courses:
* Playing with Clay – which runs on Thursdays (Feb 25, Mar 4, Mar 11 and Mar 18) from noon to 3pm at Whitefield Library.
* Drawing – on Fridays (Feb 26, Mar 5, Mar 12, and Mar 19) from noon to 3pm at Whitefield Library.
* Quick and Easy Meals – on Mondays (Mar 1, 8 and 15) from 7pm to 9pm at Bury Adult Education Centre.
* Card Making with Templates – on Tuesdays (Mar 2, 9, 16 and 23) from 10am to 1pm at Topping Fold Community Centre.
* Baking for Pleasure – on Thursdays (Mar 4, 11 and 18) from 1pm to 3.30pm at Bury Adult Education Centre.

Bury College Open Day
Bury College – An inclusive college with opportunities and success at all levels.
Bury College is holding an Open Day for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities on Wednesday 24th March 10.00am – 3.00pm.
Parents and carers are welcome to come and see first hand what courses are on offer, meet current students who are benefiting from studying at Bury College, discuss course options with college staff, and view the excellent facilities.
